Debugging EAM Module under ERP Implementation

Please be informed of that we have found ,if the Repair & Maintenance expense is going as revenue expenditure, the account segment is coming without cost center along with location ,line of business (LOB). I think the work order is opened by engineering depart for respective machine repair, hence it is not capture the cost center through EAM Module. We should have to capture the cost center for particular transaction. Please take care the issues & ensure.









Along with the EAM (Engineering Asset Management) team, please be ensured that : 

• Repair & Maintenance Expenses is flowing to the proper cost centers (Dept. in which the machine locates) as expense if NOT capitalized
• Repair & Maintenance Expenses is flowing to the proper cost centers (Dept. in which the machine locates) as asset or adds value to that assets if CAPITALIZED during that period.

This is having a significant impact on cost. As you know that we already explained the matter to the KPMG team. as of today repair & Maintenance Expenses if NOT capitalized is not capture cost center . I think KPMG will be do their work.
