· the existing process of budgeting across the organization (financial / costing as the case may be between you both)
· any existing template that you use for collecting of inputs
· finalized budget structures (any latest files)
· Any existing reports that you use for Budget Vs Actual comparisons.
As I see it from here.. we need to establish as early as possible if there is any impact of budgeting requirements on the existing COA (Chart of Accounts) structure that we have finalized. If we need to consider any additional segments, we need to appropriately take impact of any changes to existing reports. Any change to COA (Chart of Accounts) structure after implementation requires large scale effort, hence please give adequate attention to this subject.
Please sit for at least two hours on this discussion with Finance Team and Costing Team and try to recover as much information as available. We need to ensure if we require to include any additional segments in the existing COA (Chart of Accounts)structure. Please schedule a meeting where-in I can also join the discussion.
