Based on our overall assessment of the UAT status in the last few days, I have prepared a ‘Work List’ that needs to be completed in the next 3 weeks by functional KPMG consultants in their respective areas. Please review this work list and let me know if I have missed any point.
Some of the critical activities that needs to completed for successful completion of UAT are as following :
1. Pending reports in Finance, Costing, Payroll & HR modules based on the TO-BE agreement
2. Pending Costing scenarios
3. Natural Accounts alignment in COA
4. Mapping of Employee Payroll into Cost Centers
5. Inter-Company transfers & accounting
6. Pending Integrated UAT Scenarios in General Ledger & Accounts Payable with Payroll
7. Integrated Payroll & Finance solution for the scenarios of LOAN, PF, Employee Welfare Fund, Employee Profit Sharing Fund
8. Pending scenarios of INTERFACE testing between Legacy Depot Management system with Oracle Order Management, Accounts Receivables, Inventory, Payable
Also, in our internal KPMG Project team meeting today, we reviewed the above tasks and have already aligned our functional team with the technical team in Bangalore. Technical work on some of the critical activities have already started. Our functional team will coordinate with the technical team from their respective base locations during next week.
