- 2 codes that try to summarize the work accomplished since 1958.
- Both codes were CODE OF CIVIL PROCEDURE and the Judiciary Code (Code of Judicial Organization). CODE OF CIVIL PROCEDURE concerns only the rules of civil procedure, whereas in the COJ there are rules on the establishment, operation and competence of the courts.


- The CIVIL PROCEDURE CODE is actually the heir of the old CODE OF CIVIL PROCEDURE established April 14, 1806 and entered into force in 1807. At the time it entered into force, the CIVIL PROCEDURE CODE has not abrogated all other provisions of the 1806 CIVIL PROCEDURE CODE the law of 20 December 2007 has permanently revoked the code 1806 and given to the CODE oF CIVIL PROCEDURE .


- Despite the existence of the COJ and CODE OF CIVIL PROCEDURE, any matter relating to the private judicial law are not covered. July 9, 91 law concerning civil enforcement procedures, with decrees. A bill is in court to give parliament the authority to codify the laws of civil enforcement procedures.
